As agency director at Mad Hatter Technology, Melanie combines creative thinking and a love of marketing into digital media strategy. Early technology experience involved launching online marketplaces, trading floors and exchange platforms in major city centres around the world. Equity ventures in technology, established partnerships with Sparks Consulting, a world leader in commodity market research and analysis, and the Rabobank, a dutch multinational banking and financial services company.

In addition to advising fortune 500 companies on digital marketing strategy, Melanie has directed the website and digital media plans for famed author Robert Munsch, Bob Izumi’s Real Fishing, the first website and digital mass mailing for Claudia Schiffer, and most recently unveiled the online presence for Matthew McConaughey’s clothing line Just Keep Livin’.

On a personal note, early studies in genetics and biotechnology translated into a passion for the environment, along with a healthy obsession for organic living. In her spare time, Melanie loves to travel the world and spend time with her family.

Nicole works on public relations, digital engagement and social media strategy with clients at Mad Hatter Technology. Nicole has a passion for people and an enthusiasm for innovation. She began her career with a blend of experience in communications, public relations and event management.

Nicole previously worked with the corporate communications team at MasterCard Canada. She was interested in the evolution of public relations and the integration of social media into corporate strategies, following her postgraduate studies in corporate communications and public relations at Centennial College.

Known as a serial volunteer, Nicole is also a sports enthusiast, world traveler, foodaholic, kindle addict and fest goer.

Overseeing the studio and creative for a wide range of clients, Laura’s primary focus has been to develop interactive digital experiences to engage audiences in public spaces. With more than 20 years in the advertising industry, Laura has won awards for advertising campaigns, product launches, digital installations and corporate identity on a global scale. Laura leads her team by striving to push the creative boundaries with ideas that are rooted in a fertile strategy. Laura has experience working in Packaged Goods, Manufacturing, Spirits, Agriculture, Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Retail and Public Spaces.

Julia Rosien is the resident Brand Engineer for Restonic, supporting the dreams of their customers, one mattress at a time. When she’s not chatting about all things sleep, she serves on various boards of directors and is currently the 2014 Chairman for, a non-profit organization for women in the home and furnishings industries.

Julia has been named one of the most influential women in social media in a variety of blogs and news sites. A former editor and writer for a variety of national magazines, Julia offers her communities an eclectic mix of personality and community engagement to naturally generate brand awareness. Julia believes communities need nurturing, not managing, and that information needs to flow freely for social media to be truly effective.

A dedicated blogger since 2005, Casie Stewart’s life is all about digital platforms. With over 20,000 twitter followers, Casie has built relationships all across the world with social media engagement. She has partnered with Virgin America, Ted Baker London, Thomas Sabo and Telus (just to name a few companies) and is currently the host of Coral TV, a platform for women interested in everything about the internet.

Whether you’re looking for opinions on fashion and technology or just some daily inspiration, Stewart’s sense of humour and positivity will make your day. Recently walking the red carpets at Toronto’s International Film Festival, Casie will talk about her partnership with TIFF, her social media obsessions, and some of her fave moments on her digital travels.

She’s energetic, exuberant and has a contagious love for life. As one of Canada’s newest motivational coaches, Kelly Lovell is sought out for her deep understanding and unique ability to mobilize leaders. At 21, she became the youngest recipient of Canada’s 2013 Most Powerful Women; Top 100 and holds a variety of honourary titles. Kelly is well known as an engaging speaker that specializes in self-esteem, personal development, entrepreneurship, marketing and youth mobilization.

Kelly is a coach and consultant on a mission to bridge the gap to the youth generation. Respected by renowned leaders including Nobel Peace Prize Entrepreneurs, governmental bodies, and global humanitarians, Kelly possesses wisdom beyond her years married with a bubbly and youthful energy that leaves a lasting impression on young and mature audiences alike.
